Shaligram Mala refers as an iconic symbol and reminder of the Lord Vishnu as the Universal Principle . Shaligrams are usually collected from river-beds or banks such as the Gandaki river in Nepal. Wearing of Shaligram rosary (Mala) bestows the devotee with immense prosperity, extreme protection and peaceful environment in his surroundings. Shaligram Mala has designed extremely elegant and attractive Shree Shaligram rosary ,for the benefit of the devotees. As per Skanda Puran, in early 1900 the Trupati Lord Balaji (Lord Venketeshwara) used to be decorated with a rosary (Mala) of round or small Sudarshan Shaligram Shilas . Donating the Shaligram Rosary to Lord Vishnu is considered very auspicious. Wearing of small Shree Gopal Krishna or Sudarshan Shaligram malas by the devotee bestows the devotee with extreme protection and peaceful environment. The rosary are also kept in the Altar and puja room as these brings immense positivity and removes evil forces from the surroundings.
